Episode 22: Walk It Like I Talk It

I’m learning what it means to be intentional about my faith. oh boyyy, can I tell you about the Jesus that loves and heals and delivers..but how often do I let him exercise that Glory through me? After all I am a saint (to all who are beloved of God in Rome, called as saints: Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ Romans 1:7)

A vessel to be filled with his awesome spirit (In the last days, God says, I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your young men will see visions, your old men will dream dreams Acts 2:17) I’m meant to walk that faith like I talk it. Finally learning Jesus is multilayered. You have the Grace which is free and readily available then then there’s obedience which you have to strive for. So you can really reflect that Image of God we were made to be like – Christ.

you can talk the talk but can you walk the walk?

Belief plays a crucial role in how we live our lives. To pick up a cup you first have to think about it. Then your neurons will charge up and send a message/signal to your brain to actually signal your hand to pick up the cup. You believe you can and that’s why you stretch out and pick it up.

If they asked you to volunteer your hand to be bitten by a snake as part of a massage I know you won’t believe such a thing. Well, most of you **cough, cough Debola** The same is true of belief when we walk with Jesus. You’ve Gotta believe THEN You’ve. Actually. Got. To. Walk.

You MUST believe in your purpose to see it manifest in you. Visualize it by faith in Christ and his infinite works (Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows James 1:17) <— Thats Grace in its purest form.

we’re often so caught up about doubting we are butterflies we forget we actually have the power through obedience to grow out of being a caterpillar and sprout out in the full spirit of God that does all the “good work”. (All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work (2 Timothy 3:16-17).

You have to be intentional in creating your saint like self And be lead by him to actively achieve. (But do you want to know, O foolish man, that faith without works is dead? James 2:20) You won’t see the purpose come into fruition just by praying it down. Walk like Jesus talked it for true and pure purpose.

We also have to be careful to only Act it out how and when God the Father leads you . “soul searching” isn’t a Christian motto sorryyy.

We ALL were made to do something great, the tricky part is finding out what that is (For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Jeremiah 29:11) Remember though if it’s not aligning with his will, you’re wasting your time, this is why its good to know the awesome God we serve. No matter how amazing you think the idea is, you can’t force God to will (want it to happen).

I would personally want everyone ploughing In the fields and delivering fresh yam tubas to my doorstep every morning. But we don’t always get what we want.. whew. yam forever for the Idoma girl.

so at that I leave you with this..

I don’t mean to say that I have already achieved these things or that I have already reached perfection. But I press on to possess that perfection for which Christ Jesus first possessed me.

Phillipians 1:12

Love always,

Belloz
